Each issue takes one question about how employers hire and answers it from the postings themselves.
56.7% of US job postings from employer career sites name dental cover, a retirement plan, paid time off or parental leave. Where a state's law asks the posting to describe benefits, 70.8% do; where it asks for pay only, 57.9%; where there is no posting law, 52.1%. 20,575 postings dated August 31 to September 27, 2026, no employer named.
In the fall 2026 window, pay is stated in 73.4% of US job postings where a pay-range law is in force and 34.5% where it is not; the ratio is the same 2.1 to one in the spring window. Virginia went from 34.7% to 68.9% when its law took effect on July 1, and the same employers state pay far less often outside law states. 39,084 postings, no employer named.
Who gets to work from home, according to 33,833 US job postings: 7% of postings asking for under two years of experience are remote and 80% are on-site. Remote and hybrid become more common as postings ask for more experience.

Every number we publish says when, what and out of how many. If a figure does not say all three, it is not ours.
We do not publish a figure for a group smaller than 300 postings. A group we hold back can be named with its size and the way it moved, never its share.
Every figure comes from a query kept in the Longbow repository. From Issue 03 on, each query’s output is saved the day it runs, so a figure can be checked after the postings behind it are gone.
